‘Local’ Speakers’ Corner is part of a growing network of initiatives promoted by Speakers’ Corner Trust, a registered charity which seeks to create new opportunities for free expression, public debate and active citizenship in the UK and emerging democracies.

‘Local’ Speakers’ Corner is was established in ‘date’ and is managed by a Committee made up of representatives of local public, voluntary, community and private sector bodies. The Committee works with individuals and organisations to promote debates and discussions on a wide range of topics including ‘examples’.

‘Local’ Speakers’ Corner is at….Anyone is free to use it at any time so long as they express themselves within the law and with consideration for others.

‘Local’ Speakers’ Corner is your platform. Please use it – and if you would like the Speakers’ Corner Committee’s advice or support in organising an event, please get in touch.

    Do you have something you want to tell others about? Does an organisation or group you support have a cause to promote or a campaign to run? Is there an issue you think local people should be talking about?

    If so, we’d like to hear from you. ‘Place’ Speakers’ Corner Committee is always looking for ideas about events which can take place at the Speakers’ Corner or in venues throughout ‘Place’.

    Whether you’re an individual or an organisation, we can offer advice and guidance and, in some circumstances, we can work with you to make your event a success.
