SCT’s Co-Founder and Past Director – Peter Bradley

Peter Bradley is the co-founder and a past director of Speakers’ Corner Trust, stepping down in May 2018.

He was Labour MP for The Wrekin between 1997 and 2005, serving as a Parliamentary Private Secretary at DEFRA from 2001 to 2005. He was subsequently a member of the Government’s Affordable Rural Housing Commission and the Housing Corporation’s Rural Housing Advisory Group and chaired the Community Stations Initiative.

Before entering Parliament, Peter ran his own public affairs consultancy, Millbank Consultants, and was previously a director of Good Relations and the research director of the Centre for Contemporary Studies.

Peter is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and of the Crick Centre for the Public Understanding of Politics at the University of Sheffield. He is also Patron of AFC Telford United.
